President and CEO of ALP International Corporation (ALPI), a leading organization in the area of test process improvement and automated test tools, bringing effectiveness and efficiency to testing, since 1993. ALPI serves federal and state governmental agencies and commercial organizations and ensures they apply methodology, technology, and best practices to achieve success in testing and test automation.
Mr. Pollner has over 30 years of software testing and automation experience, has published articles and papers, and has spoken at national and international conferences on software testing. A graduate of Indiana University Kelley School of Business, Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Business Analysis.
Since 2004 Mr. Pollner has served as a director of the American Software Testing Qualifications Board (ASTQB) where he currently serves as president, standardizing testing certifications in the US. Mr. Pollner chairs the Performance Testing, Test Automation Strategy, and Test Automation Engineering syllabi working groups for the International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) worldwide tester certification body.
